What is AIS?

Academic Intervention Services (AIS) is a program of supplemental instruction beyond the general curriculum to help students at risk of not achieving New York State Learning Standards. These services are designed to improve academic performance and may include academic, guidance, counseling, attendance, and study skills.

  • State and district-wide assessment scores can be imported, saving time and reducing duplication of effort.

  • View assessment scores on key indicator tests to predict performance on high stakes State assessments.

  • Move from abstract percentages to individual performance.
Plan
  • Develop more effective AIS plans to better serve the student's needs

  • Specify Entry Criterion including the Assessments and Measures.

  • Detail specifics including Intensity, Duration and Degree of Individualization.

  • Enter Exit Assessment Measures to automatically trigger the end of an intervention service when criterion is met.
